1 Thessalonians 5:18 says,
“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of
God in Christ Jesus for you.”
I did not need to be thankful for my circumstance, but did need to be thankful in it.
Because people get weary, this is not always easy. However, if we are consistently thankful for what is good in our lives, we will walk in the light, the pain will eventually have to leave, and the body will heal. As Kenneth Copeland’s wife Gloria says, “In consistency lies the power.” We must be consistent in our confessions.
